Just before 17:00hrs the Engine was sent to the Crest Ave Apartments in Charleroi along with 33 and 22 for the AFA. 33 arrived on scene to find a working fire in the kitchen of an apartment. The fire was quickly extinguished and the Engine Crew was sent to the second floor to assist with search and evacuation of residents. Once this was complete the crew went ot the fire room and the room below to assist with salvage and overhaul. Crews returned in service about two and a half hours later.
