January 11th. The Charleroi Area Fire District was sent to the 500 block of Center Ave for the possible structure fire. Upon arrival, a light smoke conditoin was apparent with no fire. After investigating inside and out, a fire was found in the walls of the dwelling. Crews removed siding and wood to access the fire at which time it was contained allowing for only minimal damage to the building. Crews cleared soon after.
